Grant Applications

Who can apply?

The BB Waikato Charitable Trust will consider financial requests that fulfil certain criteria from members of BB Companies and ICONZ Units within the area as defined by the Trust Deed - the geographical area commencing south of the Bombay Hills from the Waikato District Council, south to Mokau at the southern end of the Waitomo District Council, east and north to the eastern boundaries of South Waikato, Matamata-Piako to include Paeroa in the Hauraki District and Thames.

Funding Criteria

1. Provide financial support to registered leaders wishing to participate in tried, tested and proven leadership training programmes that focus principally on developing or enhancing the knowledge and skills required to implement effective BB/ ICONZ youth ministries.
2. Provide financial support and encouragement to registered leaders aspiring to enhance their own personal development in endeavouring to create more effective youth ministries within their respective BB companies and ICONZ units.
3. Provide financial support for special activities locally that are conducive with providing effective youth ministries and consistent with the vision of the BB Waikato Charitable Trust.

When can applications be made?

There is no closing date for applications - these can be made at any time. However, please aim to give as much notice as possible to give the trustees time to consider each application before the planned training or activity event.

Except for special circumstances, retrospective requests for funding will not be considered.
